We purchased Valentines Drift in 2011 and now have eight colt crops on the ground. While we are still new at raising Quarter Horses, Mike has owned and roped off of Quarter Horses most of his life.
We chose Valentines Drift for our stallion because of his foundation bloodlines, great mind and rugged build. He will give our colts the bone, structure and durability that we were looking for along with a good mind and temperament.
Mike heads, heels and ropes calves off of Valentines Drift ” aka Bones”. He runs and rates good, is strong at the horn and has a big stop. Mike has started to steer rope (trip) on Bones and he is working good.
We couldn’t be happier to have “Bones” as our herd sire.

“Possum” has been used in the feedlot, has been ranched on and has a good start in the arena. We have been focusing on heading but has been heeled on also. She will be hauled to local jackpots before sale day. Possum has a laid back personality, and is the type that would make a great family horse.
Sue is the first foal out of Hav A Double Lucky. This cross with Valentines Drift appears to be a good one. She has a great disposition and is the largest foal of our 2019 crop. Sue should have plenty of size.
Foaled 4-28-20, this colt is a full brother to Vals Delightful Doll. Some of his full siblings have reached 15.2 to 16.1 hands, so he could be a big horse. He has some chrome and is starting to get white/grey on his hip and around his eyes. He should be a looker. His siblings have had gentle, laid back personalities.
